Desire Paths: Branding for Digital Lives

Awesome presentation by digital strategist Mike Arauz. He uses the term "desire path" to describe users journeys in the digital world - Slide 16/17 "In a digital world, people spend their time exploring the things they are most passionate about. This is a desire path". He emphasizes on the fact that only people, not brands, create desire paths. Update your Facebook status from Twitter only with the tweets you want

My Facebook and Twitter friends are quite different. My Facebook friends are people I used to know (school, water ski, travel...). While, the people I follow on Twitter are people who I like to share my passion with (social media, web, mobile) and people who I can learn from, those are the people I would like to know better. That's one of the reason I never used the Twitter application on Facebook to update my Facebook status from my Twitter feed. Too many updates would have confused many of my Facebook friends.
But today, I found out a very useful app thanks to @iboy. Indeed, you can now update your Facebook status with only the tweets you decide. Each time you think your tweet might be a good one for your Facebook status, add a #fb at the end of it and it will automatically update your Facebook status! You need to enter your Twitter username to allow access to the application: Selective Twitter Status and that's done!
It is so handy! Many thanks to @andyy, the author of Selective Twitter Status
